Tomahawk French Trade Axe

Introduced by the Europeans but was so frequently used by Native Americans that over time it became one of their leading symbols. This axe is hand forged and based on the French Origin Tomahawk which was used for trade in the 1600’s. The blade has a 3” face. The hickory handle is rough sanded for a secure textured grip. The handle is mounted in tapered eyes without wedges. Includes a grain leather sheath.
